Recording Continues

Just last night, Jared Cochrum stopped by The Dragon Room to record cajon for a couple of songs for RP#2. Things are sounding good.

It’s crunch time for us now, and with only one week left to record, we still have a lot of work to do. But we’re in good shape, good spirits, and we’re excited for our record release party on April 10th, right here in Wheaton. Check out our tour page for details.

Big First Day of Recording Complete

Michael MkrtschjanAt 9 AM on December 29th, the whistle blew and we were off, recording all day for the new record. Progress was made, but there is much more work ahead. We logged 8.5 hours of recording – literally, probably pretty close to 5% of the amount of time we’ll put in on this one. The first two songs that we decided to tackle were Disciple Song by Jay Mathes and O Love Divine by Michael Mkrtschjan, Jay’s brother. O Love Divine is a Charles Wesley hymn re-write.

Tomorrow, or should we say today, will be another long day of recording at the Dragon Room. Please pray with us that God would prove himself great throughout this whole recording process. Thank you all so much!
